Learning more than my horse!
12/14/2016 3:57:00 pm by cheyanne l from US

YES! The title is correct! I bought the set for myself after watching an amazing woman and her horse performing what she has learned from the Parelli program. I was not only jealous of the great bond her and horse had, but also her ability to understand and communicate with other horses as well. I was at an hunter/jumper barn when she was showing me all the amazing things her and her horse would do together, and it was just the beginning basic teachings from the On Line box set. We called her in after we were having issues with a green horse who would not lunge! She took this horse, and bam! there she goes in just a few minutes she had that gelding going in circles! It was amazing. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE around the arena was just staring (some in shock, some thinking it was weird) I for sure was amazed. This is why I love this set. It teaches you to not only understand horses but to think more like them to make things easier for your life and theirs. This is not just educational learning for you and your horse but learning to make things more fun with games and activities. This set is where it begins and I cannot wait to move on to the next level with my handsome TB. I hope everyone enjoys this program as much as I am. *note* Joining the Savvy club, and having the set is very beneficial. The club sets up plans for you and your horse every month, and will give you extra videos and information to back up the box sets! Enjoy!

Horsemanship, not just a do this then that program
12/14/2016 9:55:21 am by Caitlin O from US

I love this kit. It's one of those programs that continues to get better every time you watch it. As someone who recently switched over from a different horsemanship program, I struggled a little at first with not having the exact exercise to do in a particular order (I think you know what I mean). However, after I watched the DVDs and read the books a couple of times, I took away the true meaning of horsemanship. That is, being able to read your horse and do what he needs in order to not only get the response, but to build a relationship. I am so grateful that I took a chance on the Parelli program. I certainly don't regret it!

Love it!!

Just loving the new Savvy series. The student lessons are worth their weight in gold. I am Level 3 but have improved my Online skills just by watching the L1 and L2 student lessons. 'Slow down my feet' is my new mantra.

Love: On Line skills for riding!
11/12/2014 11:05:49 am by Cyndi M from CA

I have loved having the Online Savvy skills and my natural hackamore for my horse's ‘riding’ start as I would be able to hop off of him in an instant and show him how to cross bridges, water, deal with traffic, snowmobiles, ATVS, and whatever other ‘obstacle’ came our way while out on trail. Our ground communication was excellent and I could always help him (and keep us both safe) by getting off and using my lead rope. Also, having 2 young children, I am confident to have them on him and I’m able to communicate with him to keep them safe and him connected.

Awesome

This is awesome, back to the basics with students working in their level, this never gets old. And no matter how often you watch the DVDs and read the pages, you will learn something. Pat, your dancing was great! You just needed Linda!!

FANTASTIC - Pat & Linda you have outdone yourself. I am so happy I bought these dvd's, this is your best. It is so nice to watch a new student start from square one. It is so encouraging to watch basically yourself using these new tools that we don't feel comfortable with, not sure if we are doing it right and have the guidance that we need. I felt like I was standing right there as a by stander, Clint you did a great job, your horse is beautiful. Even though I have done level one, I have some new ideas, learned more what to look for, as an example the bracing, I encourage everyone to purchase these dvd's you won't be disappointed, I will feel more confidant the next time I go out and play with both my LBI and my RBE. I am so excited about the student lessons the most, I know I will definitely benefit from them. Thank you so much and Pat, you've got some great dance moves.

Brilliant!

I haven't even gone through the whole set yet but I just had to write this review. What I like most so far, or tied for most (there are a lot of things!): the horses make the same "mistakes" that mine do; there are lots of little hints and tricks and explanations all throughout (such as porcupine on the head means move the outside foot, on the shoulder means move the inside foot--I just never knew that before!); real-time fixing of problems in one take; I could go on and on. I'm totally blown away by how much only TWO discs in this set have already improved my horsemanship!

Love it!!!!

The new Savvy series is right on time as I start my young horse. For me it's much more logical in sequence to define each Savvy into levels. Also each of the On Line levels in this new approach is much more in depth, has answered all those what if's as well as things I hadn't even thought of are addressed. Pat gives good demonstrations with thorough explanations of how the seven games will apply as horse and human progress. The student DVDs cover lots of issues that I'm experiencing so the remedy is right in the DVD, and it's much easier to find now. The camera work is good, allowing the viewer to really follow. Also the pocket guides are easy to take to the barn and use while playing with your horse and I found are really useful when I need a quick reference. The On Line Savvy games are blended with the patterns which really give both horse and human some solid skills right from the start. Will I keep and still use all the prior Parelli DVDs? Absolutely! But I love this updated approach and can't wait to complete level 4 of the on line savvy so my horse and I can go on to the Liberty Savvy. Well done Parelli!
